Why we exist
Mind Layer Grid was formed in Bangkok to give regulated firms a financial audit lens on anti-money laundering applications — the living combination of policy, judgment, and money movement that examiners actually probe. Too many reviews stop at policy inventories. We follow the cash.
Where we work
Our office sits at Level 6, 118 Silom Road, Bang Rak, within walking distance of the payment and banking desks we often visit. Fieldwork regularly takes us into file rooms, operations floors, and board prep sessions across the Bangkok metropolitan area, with remote document review when licence groups sit outside the city.
How we approach an engagement
We treat AML applications as operational systems of people and decisions, not as abstract frameworks. Sampling plans are agreed up front. Findings are cleared for factual accuracy with control owners. Reports are written so a non-specialist director can see why a gap matters financially and regulatorily.
People
Arisa Thongchai leads engagements and spent over a decade in second-line AML review at a Thai commercial bank before moving into independent audit work. She chairs scoping calls and signs final reports.
Daniel Okonkwo designs sample methodologies and reconstructs payment paths when monitoring dispositions look thin. He previously supported remittance compliance programmes across ASEAN corridors.
Mei Lin Chua manages client workshops and remediation tracking language so boards receive ranked actions rather than open-ended wish lists.
